THOMAS DE FALCO IN THREE-YEAR

'Still Life', or 'silent', marks a pictorial theme that mixes together inanimate elements, objects, fruits, flowers, game, fixing on the canvas in situations of apparent calm. Appropriating the term, and using the new language of contemporary art, the young sculptor, textile Thomas De Falco creates a kind of 'tableau vivant' in the performance-installation "Still Life W ', where the presence of the objects is replaced by three female characters live and throbbing (Women), which form the heart of 'work. STILL LIFE IN THE FLESH

the Triennale Design Museum, a performance at the women of Thomas De Falco

Wednesday March 31, 2010 the Triennale Design Museum is staged "Still Life W" , performance "site specific" by Thomas De Falco .

One way to think about the sensitivity and fragility of feminine nature, the involvement of three famous women in the world of culture, ' art and fashion : Margherita Palli , designer , Benedetta Barzini , journalist and professor of anthropology of fashion, and Ani Alitalo, model agency Flashmodel .

At center stage, the trio of body size, located next to a construction textile wraps arms, legs and skin surfaces of the protagonists. One of them is sitting on the other foot in the last supine.

Every ten minutes, as a result of an internal clock, change their position, while all around De Falco, as a patient spider weaving its web, developing a complicated and intricate theatrical context.
